Accessing Aeries Communications is as easy as navigating anywhere else within Aeries SIS.
Users will simply login to Aeries, then click the Communications link in the navigation menu. Aeries Communications can be accessed by office users in the Admin Portal, teachers in the Teacher Portal, as well as parents and students in the Student Portal.
Note: If users do not see the Communications link, check to make sure the District has configured the system properly. See the configuration article for details.
Parent or Student Portal View:
Parents can also set their notification preferences via the parent portal. After logging in, they simply click on General and Emergency Announcements, Emergency Announcements, or Do Not Contact in the Aeries Communications widget.
The first time a user clicks on the Communications link, they will be presented with an onboarding process which will ask them for some basic information such as their name, and then walks them through the platform. This process is similar for all users, including parents and students.
