Is anyone having issues with getting the SINF0059 error for a big number of students?

CALPADS clarified the SINF0059 errors and I posted on the Known Issues forum:

Please see the response from CALPADS support regarding the post above:
That defect has been closed in CALPADS and the SINF0059 was determined to be working as designed. New logic on that error was implemented this year which explains why it did not trigger last year. Please notify Aeries that this is not a defect and should take down that message to avoid confusion.

We have hundreds of SINF0059 for K-12 students who started attending from Pre-School. I am hoping Aeries support can come up with a resolution for us.

Hi Christina,

I will email my contact at CALPADS for clarification. It seems that they changed the logic on error SINF0059 without updating the error description. Let me try to find out the new logic with the dates. I will post a Known Issues with the information.

On the Aeries List Serve, another user posted the following:

They were very kind to call late last week to explain in greater detail by phone. CALPADS said to use the Kinder start date instead of the Preschool start date for the US School date under the Language Assessment screen to eliminate the error. So I went in one by one on each student that had the error and replaced whatever date was there with their Kinder start date.

CALPADS explained that they need to update the description so we understand to make this change.

Here is the current error description:

SINF0059

Student Initial US School Enrollment Date Less Than Birth Date

Student Initial US School Enrollment Date must be greater than Student Birth Date

Fatal

2.18 - Student Birth Date
2.36 - Student Initial US School Enrollment Date

Change either the Student Birth Date or Student Initial US School Enrollment Date to the accurate date(s) and sequence to resolve this error.
