Known Issue - Importing Initial ELPAC LST Student Score Results - Fixed 9/13/2018

Programming is working on updating the Import Test Results screen in Aeries Web to include the ELPAC 2018-19 Local Scoring Tool Export Student Data File Layout. When you receive your student data files with the LST results if you wish to assist us in our testing process please contact us at support@aeries.com and we will provide information on where to send your database and the 2018-19 ELPAC LST data file.

We have also created a programming request that you can be added to so that you will be notified when this update is released:

PR 20854 - The state's testing vendor just released the file layout for the ELPAC LST student score report. Will Aeries be working on a mechanism to import the LST results into the system?

7/24/2018 - The following information on how to download the "Initial ELPAC Export Student Score Report" was provided by one of our customers...

Only two user roles have permission to the "Initial ELPAC Export Student Score Data" report. They are the district ELPAC Coordinator and the LST Correspondence Administrator.

The report is under: Local Scoring Tool --> Reports

The report name is: " Initial ELPAC Export Student Score Data"

It appears to be that we have to run a report first before we are able to download the report.

The only file format available for download is the .csv

9/13/2018 - The 9/13/2018 update to Aeries Web added the Initial ELPAC file layout to the Import Test Results screen:

IELPAC - The Import Test Results screen in Aeries Web has been updated to allow the import of the 2018-19 ELPAC Local Scoring Tool Export Student Data File Layout (i.e., Initial ELPAC) test results. The IELPAC import allows comma-delimited (.csv) files. The Test Scores, Test Details, and Profile pages have been updated to include the IELPAC test results. The Language Assessment page has 2 new fields, Initial Fluency and Initial Fluency Date, that will also be updated with data during the Import Test Results process. The IELPAC results data file can only be imported in the Aeries Web version, Aeries Client will not be updated.

I was able to follow the instructions and it appeared everything worked out great. BUT, I never received the email saying that it updated, nor did the student files' update successfully.  I did this three times on different days with no results.  Is anyone else having problems with this?

Thank you for the updated format and layout.

When a new student comes and they are TBD, we had to put in a test record of ELPAC with just a date and leave everything blank in order to be able to extract a TBD SELA record to upload to CALPADS.  Now that the initial ELPAC scores are in the system, would it be safe to remove the blank ELPAC record?  Or should those be left remaining?
